About the College

The College of Petroleum Process Engineering was established in 2010 with limited resources and a small faculty. Despite this, it has achieved remarkable progress, overcoming challenges with determination and continuing its educational mission locally and globally.

Focused on petroleum processing industries and supporting sectors, it has two departments:

  • Petroleum Refining Engineering: refining crude oil and processing petroleum products.
  • Petroleum Systems Control Engineering: centralized control and management of petroleum facilities.

The College prepares highly qualified engineers and plans to add new departments in vital specializations like Petroleum and Gas Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering.
